Hehe, very interesting Man Ray-like effect. I do think however that there are some issues with either noise or selections in the image, but I can't figure out which one predominates.

The opening of the shell looks very flat, not as if its going into the shell itself.
Maybe working with shadows to re-create the hole would make it a lot better? Just a thought |
