This is a goood start. I like the cracks in the fingernails.
It needs more detail though. Like feathers in the wings, taste buds on the tongue, wrinkles in the clothing. You could also create more depth by pushing the background parts back with darkness, textured darkeness, I mean. Think about where the light comes from to decide where the shadows go. You could practice on those boring still life sketches of household objects. What you learn from that will translate well into your imagination. |
