Was working on techniqe of taking two images of different exposures in RAW and blending them into one image. Here is the result of my first try. C&C welcome

Thanks, there were no content modifications to this image. All edits were related to exposure and color.

Can't really judge you on the compositing or blending cause I dont know what you started with, but on this photo I would personally darken the greens on the bottom a lot to pop out the frog more.

Well, for those who think this is not a real photo, I can only say I wish I were skilled enough in PS to create something like this... I would like to post the original but It is a RAW NEF file and would likely exceed any threshold for uploading. Lombi... The original was a RAW file and the original was more complicated then just the one RAW file. I created two files from one NEF file. I set exposure on one for maximum details in shadows, and set the other for maximum details in highlights. These two images were merged in one image as seperate layers. I selected the image exposed for highlights and used select - color range and adjusted fuzziniess to catch the highlights and the range that would at risk of loosing details. I adjusted all three levels independently to maintain maximum detail.
