if you cover the top bit, so you only see the bottom bit from the middle, I would never have told the difference between a real and a 3D modeled glass.......but as I pointed out, the top of the glass looks probably a bit less nicely rendered than the rest (the colours are too 'thick') maybe have some more playing areound with the render stettings, or the pattern itself....and im sure you can get stunning results!

The lower part is exelent as dezkate said on hte top light and reflexions are too sharp make it blurry and you'll have a real glass

that's pretty amazing. i know i can't do that. i tend to agree about the top half of the glass, tho. it looks just a touch too stylized. other than that, it's great work. i know how difficult 3D is.
