I got an easle and new pencils for xmas...just tryin to get the feel of things. Also have just discovered you can blend with paper...so abit of an experiment here.Its too big to put in scanner, had to take a photo so the flash has interferred a wee bit. I

hey you know that i like this one, only thing to watch (maybe be the artworld compression i'll know when i next see it) is the perspective...the face seems to twist a bit as you go down....

Yeah I agree with both with perspective...but nothing looks flat so thats a good thing.
Good detail and shading, and I can't really think of anthing else that wasn't said Good job, and Keep it up. |

Oh poo I meant to add in about the eye on the right side, I think the pupil Is alittle too big.....Just my thought

...I think the distortion in the bottom is intentional, cause the line thickness dosent change...I like it though, an interesting style...well done!
...and of course Drewster had to bring up the eye...!...LOL R |

Haha the face looks great now,
But you still need to work on that 1 eye. The Iris and the Pupil are too big. |

eyes and nose are okay, but everything else is disproportional and not done in the same detailing. everything below nose line is too small. her haid looks like a cone, while it should be egg-shaped.
hair is a mess, really - looks like a bunch of scribbles, nothing like real hair. |

The main focus of the drawing are the eyes, i personally think that works well enough but i could be wrong. The hair isn't anywhere near as good as i'd like it to be, true but no hair is shown in the photo so...yes, if anyone knows where i could find tips on actually drawing hair properly, please say. Her head is not meant to be eggshaped, it is not that way in the photo.
