well, i think this is a very good for first work. i like the composition. and the vector frame. the effect need correcting, but overall it will be nice.

I agree the vector border is very cool. On the effect on the guy i would eliminate the grainess but other than that its very nice.

For a firrst time work this is very well done, especially the idea is aplaudable. Persoanlly I'd experiment with the fact how it would look if the photo would be grayscale instead of color sincethe photo isn't really filled with amazing colors. Try grayscale and up the contrast a bit, it might seriously do the trick.
