I like blue. My shirt is blue, My Harley is blue, my first car 66 mustang was blue. Nice days have blue skies, Why is blue associated with feeling down?

Wow...My first car was a baby blue(light blue)...65 mustang....I miss that car....At least if anything went wrong with it I could fix it...The cars these days you can't find anything.................I don't know why they didn't think of black instead of blue....It's cold and dark

because blue looks gloomy and when you compare to some color it has a different drive to move and motivate your feelings.

Blue is the color for cold. The phrase must have come from someone who felt miserable when they got cold, and said they felt blue whenever they were miserable.
Sounds good to me. |

I am blue today, I lost my fave patient this past week and work sucked so bad without her. My job is getting harder. |

I agree....Blue and black are my favorite colors. My suv is dark blue.....Yes, the beautiful skies are blue, the ocean is blue....When I am feeling down, I don't feel blue, more like gray......

Well we'll just have to change the saying! Go around work happy and smiling saying "I'm so blue" Maybe people will catch on and start associating blue with happiness!
