Now don't get me wrong, I don't support graffiti on things illegal, but you would think that as talented as some of the people that do it are, that companies like the railway system would do it to update their train cars--make them look a little less rusted. I know that sometimes they have them do murals, but I really think that some things could used to be graffitied and that the idea of it could be used for good. Am I wrong?

Personally, I believe that the vandilism of grafitti is horrible, but looking at grafitti at an artistic perspective is a whole different story. I love the look of it, and I do believe it can be used for good causes, as long as it is legal.

Good - graffiti as an art form
Bad - graffiti placed on another's property without permission.

Simple enough? It's about private property rights and our intent on enforcing what an owner wants to with his property.

No, I think it's perfectly fine for graffiting at a extent if legal. I've never tried it though knowing it'll look terrible. Seriously, it's not hurting anyone and its very cool an interesting to look at. If you can graffiti good you have some talent. Some people's jobs are graffiti artists.

I have a completely different atitude toward graffiti. I don't think that it's bad and in fact i can find it very though provoking and moving. In Germany, graffiti is not illegal, but what is also true is people dont go around spray painting penises on things. They actually do artistic designs.

I think that all citys should have a area that kids and people can graffiti. Graffiti is a style of art and people should be able to express themselfs. I love looking at photographers. Its a way someone can tell a story through art.
