I'm not challenging anyone, since the amount of stuff I know about art could fit into a teaspoon, with lots of room leftover. Still, I'd like to know your views. And maybe a little bit of argument? Who's the best artist on the face of the earth today ( someone who's still alive and kicking ). And why?

See, this is what I mean. An artist should have strongly held views of what he likes. Why look at what other people think is the best? For whatever reason, I just want people to name someone's who's art you like. and try to explain why, if possible. That way, everyone can appreciate the work of an artist whom you like.
