Even though this should be self explanatory I will elaborate.

Do you prefer to shoot stills, animals and wildlife, nature, portraits.

Just trying to get a feel for what everyone likes.

I like all kinds of photography, but my favorites are nature related, whether it being wildlife or natural settings.

Cool Zy! I kind of get that same "feeling" when taking pictures of our natural surroundings. I took some pictures of Utah and Colorado when my family and I were traveling across country. Can I say WOW! I looked at those images later and just felt this amazing rush. How spectacular our world is. Okay, sometimes I think I am weird; but I guess we are all passionate about something, right? This is my passion. It is especially awe inspiring when it is something you have never seen in your life or you shoot the surrounding and find a whole new perspective on what you just shot.

I am surprised no else has posted here though. I would think this would be a perfect subject for those "enthusiast" like us. Well, hopefully soon. I want too see more people here posting about what they like too shoot. I am sure there are others just as crazy as us Zy.

please turn the caps lock off, we can all read small letters very well

I'm not that much into photography because I prefer doing photo manipulation, but most of my photos are nature - scenery, plants, insects... I like creative portraits, though I don't do much of it (yet).
I also like photos of ordinary objects that show them in new light.

My affinity leans towards nature and how color, light, and shapes interact in our surroundings. I also love to photograph children and people, within their element, candidly.

I also enjoy the "colors" as you stated love4seas. I find it amazing how everyday brings a different look/colors to our landscapes. Thanks for input and I hope more post on this subject. I also like shooting candids, but I am not as good at figuring out how the lighting is going to react in a candid shot. I shot some that I thought were going to be awesome and the lighting turned out to be all wrong. I have a tendency to get too much shadow when shooting people. I have too work on that.

I like to shoot all, however the ones that appear to turn out the best are landscapes and scenery. For some reason I can take a really good picture of flowers and trees and mountains. I am not sure why, I have taken a few good shots of people. But I am trying to improve those ones.
