Hello there people.
Now that I've got some free time again, I'm going to be doing some Photoshop tutorials for the site.

What subjects/topics of tutorials are wanted by you all, there's no point in me making something that you dont want

General topics or specific ideas are welcome, so come on - what do you want to see?

On with the requests I say

I look forward to that.

Though, from memory, the last time I asked what people wanted there was little or no reponse

Perhaps we should do something like a big banner after the end of each tutorial to link to this topic?

I would love to see something on contrast light(if its nearer its darker, more defined,if its distant then it becomes less in saturation)hue and saturation going from Forefront,Midfield and Far Distance.
This is a problem I face in my montage.
Getting these values correct may be important for some work where the illusion of distance is REAL important.

Was just a thought.

I've been working on learning Photoshop for quite a while now, and though I'm making some progress it's frustratingly slow. Or maybe it's me that's slow...

Anyway, I'd be happy with ANY tutorial on Photoshop but particularly one on these darned layers!

Also, I'm writing a children's book and would like to use Photoshop to create the animations. Any help in that area would be greatly appreciated.

I could go on and on, but hate to be greedy. :hehe:

Thanks in advance!

Agreed. A tutorial of the basic use of layers would be nice for most people.

Hey, do you think you could do a tutorial about realistic skin--shading and highlights, correct colors to use, and the tools for such things? Especially doing so on a face.

I hope that isn't too complicated to turn into a tutorial (I know you guys put alot of work into these things and I appreciate it), but if you could, I'd be very appreciative.

Thanks!

I would like to see a tutorial in which is shown (step by step :P ) how to tattoo a person and give it a realistic look (u know, color skin beneath and so)

And which includes how to get the Free Transform / Warp option (in Photoshop CS) and how to use it, because i thinks that the most essential part/tool.

I'd like to see a tutorial about how to remove a background from an image. For example - suppose you have a picture of a car on a road, how do you get a picture of just the car on a transparent background? I have tried various techniques but it does not look very professional!

Thanks

I wanna see a tutorial that explains how you can render scars and stuff like that, specifically for the photoshop cs series if possible.
