...to show someone how much I love them?
I can draw, or paint, or use whatever media would best do the job. I just can't think of what to do My boyfriend is always writing me poems, so I want to do something for him now |

How about, draw two doves flying side by side towards a heart shape cloud....is that too preschool?
OK how about you draw yourself carving his name into your arm....is that too extreme? How about you draw what you feel or take his favorite thing, or past time and make a creation of it. |

what about a self-portrait of you?
in college, lol I drew this awesome black and white charcoal drawing of my boyfriends fav band....it was pretty bad ass. You could also do a drawing of you guys together! OR do some cool self-portrait photos, and play around w/ em in photoshop, maybe add an "i love you" note on there too! |

you could do a cool sketch of him doing his favorite sport. I might start with a picture you already have of him, and use tracing paper; maybe add in some sexy stuff( 6 pack abs, bigger muscles if he has them,) or if ur not comfortable sketching people, i do some abstract art sometimes; i start maybe with a single shape, then add to the shape, and don't worry about the eventual look, i usually just add lines to the shape, and keep adding, and adding. Then eventually the rest of the pic comes out as something u would never expect u have in u.

Well, first think of his interests, sounds like he likes to write maybe something that has to do with that, or whatever his hobby/passion is. Always start there first, something that means alot to him. You could also draw the two of you together if you have a good picture you like of the two of you, you could base it off that. You could also do a collage of stuff that means alot to him and that has to do with the two of you. Maybe draw the two of you and also put other stuff in there that relates to your relationship.
I made a phototransfer collage for one of my art classes that was all about my boyfriend and I. We both have a facination with trees especially interesting ones including dogwood trees, so I drew dogwood blooms. We've taken a few trips together, so I transfered maps of the places we've been together. I transfered pictures of us and ticket stubs of concerts we've been to together, etc. Oh, I also transfered down lines to our "poem" that really mean alot to us, so maybe you could do the same with the poems he wrote you! I did some backwards and some frontwards, it added a nice element to the collage. Check out this site if you're interested in the photo transfer thing or you aren't sure what it is!! http://www.odd-goddess.com/html/transfers.html Try something like that. Just whatever you think means the most to him. Good luck! |
