I love country, and slow dance music. Listening to oldies brings back good memories to me, I can't get into the beat of the new genres.

I'm all for listening to as much as possible as well. I've got over 500 CDs and it ranges from a bit of classical through music hall, blues, Rock and Roll to Heavy Rock, Glam, Punk, Dance, Electronica, Brit-pop, rap and anything else I can't remember.

I just got the complete collection of KuschelRock (translated into something like rock for hugging) and it's a pretty decent range of classical songs to play in the background while working.

I'm into pretty much anything as long as I can tell that it's not just some generic crap put out to make a buck.

I'm not so much interested in the genre as the feeling that I get when I listen to it, if ther'es no feeling I know it's crap.

Uh...I have a problem. A song gets stuck in my head, and I can't get it out, for months and months. I was humming Jingle Bells in Jan. February, someone mentioned 'Final Countdown', and it's still buzzing around inside my head. Anyone else have the same problem, or am I a nut?

Honestly, depends on my mood. I love some good 'ole rock and roll. I also enjoy rock/blues, popular music (pop), R&B (gotta love Barry White), some country; etc. One of my most favorites is Stevie Ray Vaughn. That boy could jam.

After a long time working in an office I've got used to hearing chart stuff during the day s we have a national radio station playing in the background. At home however I like a mixture, anmything from country to latin and classical. I think it's better not to limit yourself.

I think Carcass has had a big influence on me. At least I am still listening to stuff like Heartwork after all these years. Death, too, a great metal band. So much energy. These days, I listen to Opeth more than any other single band.
