A plagiarist - this applies to all written or drawn works. A 'Sexton Blake' for the finished works of art. Cockney slang for fake.

Rather depends on whether they do it & tell people that is what they do (rather than pass it off as their own work)
If, for instance, they are in business making copies of people's paintings and selling them as COPY of xxx then they would be a copyist. If they copy them & take the credit saying the work is all theirs - they are a plagiarist and if they copy and say their work is actually that of the original artist - they are a forger. |

well a single painting copied of another painters work is called a reprouduction... ive never really heard of an proffessional artist who only copies other works. even if there was, i dought he would be too popular.
