I wondered what things, people, objects etc influence you when creating a piece of artwork.

I love to look at sunsets and also the different formations of clouds in the sky. Here in the UK, we are lucky enough to see the sun setting slowly and visualise a wide range of colours.

I would have to say that natural landscapes and the sky influence my work.

I like animals but I'm not very good at them. I try my best with mt cats but I can never manage to get their beautiful shapes recreated on paper.

We moved from the city a few year's ago and the home we have now is surrounded by trees and fields. The landscape is truely stunning and the sunsets are breath taking. Still waiting to see the Northern Lights but that is only a question of being in the right place at the right time. Perhaps this year! So it has to be landscapes for me!

I'm not exactly sure. I'd have to say that the objects are pretty sporadic and random and can't be attributed to any specific origin.

In my case it's more than what feeling can be attributed to the object than the object itself.

My boyfriend is my biggest influence in everything I do, most my photos are of him, and I love doing things to my photos.

I would have to say my emotional feelings of an everyday basis would be my influences on my pieces. Even If I replicate someone elses's work or whatever it I add some sort of touch to a point where these are the colors that represent the way I feel when doing this painting which are usually emo colors. Dark colors that is. I interpret my feelings that day into my work any work that I do and it represents me, who I am..

I find myself concentrating more and more on background images of the sky. I love the way there are no defined sharp edges rather they mix and blend into many different colours. I viewed one of the recent contributions to the gallery and found it spell binding. Simply a skyline with the silhoette of a bird. The shades and colouring where fantastic!

Interesting thoughts about emotions being a big influence and not something that came to my mind, However I can see how depending on your own mood at the time of producing a piece that your emotional state can influence the final article.

I like landscapes - especially the UK countryside and beaches.

The form of a horse is simply stunning, but not something that I have managed to do . However, when I look back at art through the ages I am encouraged that the Great Masters got the proportions wrong as well!

The main influence in my art work has to be my emotion, lol. What i am feeling at that current moment really does influence how my art comes of the emotion it invokes.
