What is the Bob Ross way of loading the brush and applying the paint to canvas?

Bob Ross was the coolest. He was an artist and a genius.

scrunch and tap method, then scrunch in some low lights. Before you are done tap some highlights on. Then just add a few "happy trees" and you are all set. Bob Ross painting is awesome. So was he.

I was fortunate enough to meet him on my birthday one year.
What a very nice man he was.
Through watching his program I got the urge to get some paints and give it a shot.
I of course got the cheapest student grade paints a person could possibly purchase.
Big mistake and made learning Bob's wet on wet technique that much more difficult..
His paints are a bit thicker, except for the liquid white. Once you have the proper equipment to do the job, the job is that much easier to accomplish.

William Alexander actually taught Bob.
Anyhow, enjoy the three-part video linked to below (one of Bob's shows)
