Howzit guys.
When setting your paragraph settings (InDesign, but I'm sure Quark, Freehand etc counts too), isn't presumptuous to some point? Obviously your layout will have to be well planned to do this. I've read the typeface articles on what works and they're great. But does this always apply when setting your paragraphs in a laoyut program? What works, and how should one go about making it flow really nicley - regarless of the amount of pages.

Things can rarely go automatically with this sort of thing, especially once you get to a lot of column designs with a lot of differently sized images (as most magazines have it). You just have to experiment with the sizing and cropping of images until it all fits.

Of course, if using proper page layout software like Indesign or Quark, don't forget to use styles as often as possible. Saves hundreds of hours of time.
Siggie!

Yeah, you're right. I suppose it would save lotsa time, but also after planning the actual layout before setting paragraph and things.
Thanx
