Hi there. I have had next to no drawing training, but i'm really interested in developing my skills and style, although I go through stages where I doubt I have any talent.
I would really appreciate it if you, as an artist, or art appreciator could give me some feedback on my drawings, and tell me whether i am wasting my time, or if I have something to develop on. Thanks so much. http://www.flickr.com/photos/linny_t/1427113791/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/linny_t/764321345/in/set-72157600185112946/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/linny_t/1290061793/in/set-72157600185112946/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/linny_t/1290924226/in/set-72157600185112946/ |

I like your style. It is raw and needs work on technique, but you know that already. The gaol seems to be your style. Go for it

You can draw, no problem there but there is more to art than the ability to draw or paint. Inspiration and creativity are needed too.
Technically good people are a dime a dozen but most of them don't have a creative bone in their body. I have been an artist for over 30 years. Tried commercial work but hated it although the money was good. But I didn't like being poor either so I found other ways to make money. Now I create on the side, do exactly what I like and when I sell a piece, it's icing on the cake. Go to art school, refine your technique and learn new ones and make sure you get a degree so that you can at least teach. You obviously have a certain facility so why not try and develop it. |

I liked them, the drawings are good but they're not very creative. There's not much going on in the background. They need to tell more of a story...

Artwork has a very dark feeling. Reminds me of Camilla Rose Garcia artwork. Maybe you could get into mature picture books, geared for adult audiences. Technique is a bit rough...but has a great feel.
