A friend of mine was in Mexico years ago, (early 90's) and purchased a couple of paintings that were completed using these techniques. http://www.sprej.com/
Amazing to say the least! These artists utilize texture materials at hand and experiment like mad to see what effect different textured materials produce. Their strokes are strong and sure. Again, very cool stuff. I didn't see a respirator on the guys face. Halfway through a painting he's probably high as a kite and somewhere in space himself
Very impressive and the prices are reasonable too.
He's gonna be or already is a wealthy resident of Mexico.
I'd guess with his use of found materials to help him create his art, he surely didn't start out wealthy or come from a wealthy background but by his sharing his techniques with the world he's certainly headed in the right direction!
Thanks for sharing this!
Good luck in working to duplicate his techniques...it's definitely possible but may take a while before you are proficient and confident using it...but isn't that true of most things worthwhile in life? Practice, practice, practice
You'll get there, think positive and Go for it!
Very cool ~
