Next week I am going to buy the Sony Cyber shot DSC-S500.
In the technical specification it says that it has video sound but no voice recording, so I am wondering if I record a video clip, will it be with sound or not. http://www.letsgodigital.org/en/camera/spe.../1284/show.html Help me out here, people... |

Looks like a pretty solid piece of equipment, did you test out the image quality already? Do you find it acceptable?

I looked for some sample photos on the net but I couldn't find any, maybe because it just came out.
The camera will be delivered to me this week, so I didn't get the chance to test it yet. Be sure that I will post a lot of photos here in the photography section. |

I got the camera and for now I'm content.
But there is this mode called twightlight that does not allow flash. I don't get this mode, the photos are dark and it does not make any sense to me and that is the reason I am here again with this issue, so help out if you please. One more thing, what a hell is ISO? |

ISO is the light sensitivity of the sensor. ISO 100, 200, 400, 800 and 1600 for instance. ISO 1600 makes brighter photos than ISO 100, BUT the photos become more grainy (noise) on higher ISO settings.

A measurement, borrowed from traditional film cameras, of light sensitivity. The higher the ISO rating, the better the camera will perform in low-light conditions. Most digital cameras have ISO ratings of around 100.
This can be good and can be bad, because there are some times that you may want to photograph at a higher ISO. I would recommend that you read up on it. |
