Help! As I look at all the beautiful pages people have posted on the web, I am struggling to figure out how to do what they do. Why does the writing always look nice? It can't be handwriting, do people do the whole page on the computer and then print it out? I'm doing a book for my sister's wedding (following the planning and the parties, and showers etc.) any ideas?

My first suggestion is to go to some arts and crafts stores to get some suppilies like paints, pencils, stencils, scissors, glue, tape, papers, and anything else you think you might need. For the handwriting many people use stencils, print things off the computer, cut things out of newspapers/magazines, or just spend time on their handwriting skills. I would use a lot of decorations and pictures, but it is your scrapbook so its entirely up to you. Good luck!

Take a beginner class at a scrapbook or a hobby chain store. You will love this hobby and learn all about the tricks and tips. Also you can join yahoogroups about it and google it or go to sites to learn techniques. I recommend
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ScrappersChallenge/ for any beginner. Lots of tips and aritcles and examples shared. Rockester |
