does anyone know were i can get a free trail of photoshop. or somthing else good like that? like a program were i can add backgrounds and cool effects. maybe like crop someone else into a picture with you? please if you know help me out?

Picasa is great for simple stuff like crop, red-eye, image coloring, etc.

However, if you're looking to do stuff similar to Photoshop, the best is an open-source program called GIMP. In fact, you can even download a patch for GIMP that makes the menus almost identical to Photoshop - it's called GIMPshop.

In addition, my preferred method is I recommend having Picasa for the simple stuff like crops, rotations and color changes; and then GIMPshop for the more involved stuff (layers, typefaces, etc)
