what im trying to do is make a flower look like it is made of liquid metal any tips

try dis.. uhh first select the area (lyk a petal or sumthin) and change the color to w/e color u want (it works well w/ yellow but since u want something metallic try grey x.X) . anden wen u select it chnage da settings to ::::

outer glo (color-black)
inner glow (color-black. ppacity: 54%. size: 13px.)
bevel n emboss (style: outer bevel. Size: 5. soften: 1. gloss contour: ring – double, anti-aliased: On.)
contour
satin (mode: multiply. opacity: 14%. angle: 19°. distance: 21px. Size: 32px. contour: click on the little box, and change it so it looks like <a href="http://photobucket.com/albums/y200/Genie456/?action=view&amp;current=bored.bmp"> <font size="-1">this</font></a>) ... i hope to god html worx here.
stroke (size: 3. color: #D8D8D8 [dat's lite grey]. position: inside.)

okay, uh, anden in da layers list, ctrl+clik on w/e layer or petal or w/e is in (dat selects it). cr8 a new layer and fill the area with a white top2btm "4ground 2 transparent" gradient anden change this layer's mode frm normal 2 overlay

press ctrl+t to transform da area, do w/e u want so it looks more petal-ish. or stem-ish. or w/e >_<

duplicated the layer (rite clik on it in da layers list and duplicate)

change da mode of the new layer (the dublicate) frm normal 2 "lighten"

press ctrl+t to transform it again and make it da same shape like u did b4.




sorri bout da horrible typing, im in skewl and i have like 1 hour to mess around w/ ps. it's either ps or macromedia flash, and i hate dat program.. so yea, im time-compressed here x.X

tell me wat u think i didnt get much time to fine-tune it but yea
