You'd be surprised what a frame does for any poster & if you get it right you see much more of whatever you've framed, it becomes a focal point in a way.
A friend of mine had a huge poster of Lenin from USSR & had it framed 7 it looks really impressive.
Plus framing stops the edges & corners from getting knackered.
Go see your local photographer or picture framer. Its nothing to do with getting old, just makes yer old posters last longer.

i know what you mean! although i am 49 now, my outlook is still very modern. at the moment i am very interested in abstract paintings. in answer to your question, no i dont think a poster would look odd in a frame, although it depends on the type of poster, and the type of frame. posters can look good on their own or framed. if you choose a frame you need to consider which frame would fit in around your home. modern homes need modern frames ect.it also depends on which room you have decided to put it. look up framing paintings, im sure that this will give you some ideas.
