Your question is very vague. What do you mean by "real". Do you mean an authentic painting done by a certain artist? I wouldn't do any kind of authenticating over the Internet. It really needs to be looked at by an art professional.

If you can't tell by sight whether it is an actual painting or a reproduction, you're going to have to get someone to help you (a website can't do that, you need a real person). And you've given very little information for us to go on. "Board" could mean canvas board, cardboard, wood, lots of things. You haven't mentioned an artist, so I assume you only want to know about the medium.
Look at the surface of the piece very closely, with a magnifying glass if you have one. Do you see a regular pattern of tiny colored dots? Then it's a cheap photographic reproduction, and I've just saved you a trip to the appraiser. On the other hand, if you see actual (not stamped) brush strokes and texture, it's probably a real painting of some kind. Its worth depends on the artist. |
