I'm not knocking you for looking for models, but there are better places than Yahoo Answers. Craigslist is better for this sort of thing if you are looking for a non-professional.
If you need a professional, look up some agencies around you. Plus then you avoid the question of being a perv. |

Even with your rewording, this is exactly the type of situation I would advise all women to avoid. It is completely unprofessional, and they will have only your word that they're not flying off to pose for the next Jeffrey Dahmer. And you want them to send you (a stranger!) their name, address, and picture. You, on the other hand, have offered no information about yourself, have included no examples of your work, and most importantly you've not provided one professional reference. Why would any girl take a risk like that for $20 an hour?
If no one you know locally is willing to pose for you, perhaps they feel they have reason to doubt your professional sense of detachment. Or maybe you want them to do something on top of that fake mountain that they find repulsive, and which makes them feel vulnerable. A real artist would not conduct a nationwide beauty contest to find models. He'd hire them through normal means, like college art departments do, and ensure above all that his models felt respected and SAFE. In fact, the more I think about it, the more I think your question is a violation of Yahoo's community guidelines. |

Hi,
It's not because of being naked or not, at least not for a model. It's because unfortunately because of less serious people, others take the blame. I do think that trying to get a model with experience and not someone for posing is always better. Posing is very tiresome and there's knowledge to it. There are students that although not professional models, already have some experience and will be less expensive. Contact the institution first and if someone accepts your request, tell them that they can take someone with them. In these things of women being naked in the presence of a man, when thinking on the bad side of things, people tend think about sexual abuse. Unfortunately, many times that is the less bad thing. Although most of people are well intentioned, some are not. Kind regards, José http://sitekreator.com/hushcolours/index.html http://theartabuser.blogspot.com/ |
