You probably don't want to hear this, but the best way to improve any skill is to practice.

all you can do is keep practicing, look at other artists who you admire and see how they do stuff. There are some good tutorial books ect out there but if you have a good talent already then they may not be of much use. Maybe try drawing things that you would not normally draw to expand your skills.

Just draw ALL the time and everything! take your sketch book with you and just draw. you should accompany that with some books for specific drawing skills (Human Body etc') and of course you can take a class.

well better is only some thing you can decide. do you want to be more realistic , more stylized more abstract ? but the only way to get better at anything is to do that thing till you can do it with your eyes closed. to get better means to think while you work , think about what you are doing. good luck.

Well, I agree with most of the answers I've read so far; just draw and you get better. Your first big breakthrough, however, will come when you learn how to see. You should always start by drawing from life. Try to avoid drawing from photos or just copying another artist's work. Find something you want to draw and just look at it very closely. How does the light shine upon it? How are each of the parts proportioned? What kind of textures do you see? Ask yourself all these questions as you look at your subject and then experiment with differnent ways to creat the desired illusion on your paper.

Try to concintrate on "the message" behind the image and not the skill level.
Deliberately try to crappy. Even if it dosen't look like anything, What is the message your trying to say? What does a Zig Zag line tell people?...maybe your telling people your feeling energetic. It's like having a conversation when other people see your art. |

There are two ways in drawing improvement.
1. Copy from Printed pics, Sketches, drawing and also from Books. 2. Life drawing- Do practice more of human figure(bus stand , Railway Station, waiting Hall etc), animals, flowers, pots etc. practice as much as u can at least 3 hours a day. |
