What is your favorite art work? by what artist?

sunflowers by van gogh because its so pretty and the rough brushstokes left on the paint is amazing b/c you can feel the artist's presence

The Girl In a Red Hat by Vermeer has always been my favorite. The genious is to take a very ordinary looking girl and make her the most fascinating and beautiful woman through painterly mastery.
