Custom home sketches?
I am a freelance artist who customizes in sketching/drawing residence homes and buildings. Currently, I sketch for my friends and family, but am considering sketching for the public. I pencil draw from your personal digital photo and the product is a beautiful, realistic portrait of your family home. This would be a great gift (anniversary, christmas, birthday, etc.) for a loved one. I would just like to see if this would be of any interest to the public before I go ahead with this decision. How could I advertise for this? (preferbly the cheapest/easiest way) ---- or if you are interested, let me know! Thank you! |

That sounds cool. I bet people would go for it.
Maybe you could start your own website, and get people to order them online? If you make a nice artistic site that reflects your work, it would be pretty classy. Plus you'd get more customers than advertising in one city only. Internet hosting is pretty cheap - I've seen hosting for about $15 a year. You'd have to set up a paypal account or something so they could pay you, but that would be free. You could advertise by putting a link in your signature if you post on forums (if it's allowed). It takes a few months for internet sites to really pick up, but eventually they do. |

Make a deviantart.com account to post your scanned works. Easiest for me is an A4 or letter sized paper for easy handling. Or you take digital shots with your camera. The site is open for everyone to see and you can just send links to everyone else. For me it's www.janeilarlegui.deviantart.com. You will have your name there. You can then print out calling cards with your link to your works to advertise. People will also comment on your works. I do watercolor of architecture as my sideline. Check out my stuff.
