you may be thinking about baby lotion or baby oil. that can be used with oils to thin them out and make them flow my smoothly. it can also be used as a cleaning agent for yourself (hands), brushes, or the pallate.
i've never heard about hand lotion being used before. Not that it couldn't, I just don't know. I find it hard to believe that waterbased lotion could be used with oils and visa versa with oil based lotions being used with acrylics. keep me posted. |

Use water for acrylics and damar varnish, etc for oils. |
