I like them both for entirely different reasons. Munch because of the emotions he conveys and Kandinsky because of the experimental nature of his work.
I don’t think you can really compare them.

I like Munch for several of his off the wall painting especially one of his most famous the scream, I like Kandinsky’s Panel for George R Cambell #5 also its nice. I think he is well known but more so by those in art or of an older generation. Its hard to say which of the two r my fav. I’d probably go with Munch though. Although I like Kandinsky’s idea of Winter and he does things so you have to really pay more attention to get it.

Munch. Kandinsky just doesn’t really do it for me.

Kandinsky all the way. His stuff is much more life-affirming and melodious.
