Essentially, it means to steal a copy of photoshop (a piece of software used for editing images).
No it is not safe (nor is it legal).
No, it is not hard to do.
“Gimp” is photoediting software very similar to photoshop which is free.

Getting a “crack” for any software is basically getting a program or a product code that allows you to download a free or illegal copy and use it as if it were a legit copy. Some free downloads come with the crack already in place and you simply need to make sure all the files remain in the same folder and run the .exe or setup file and it will work just like a normal copy. Some you are required to download the crack file separately and place it in the folder with the program files. They generally give you a readme.txt file to give you instructions on how to do this.
