Yes you can give yourself braces in photoshop.
Photoshop does so much you could read several books on the program and still not know everything you can do with it. I would recomend taking a couple of classes or if you cant find any classes start with Adobe Photoshop Classroom in a book to start with many of the basic functions.
Absolutelly anything you can think of and then some.
It can be use for forensic applications, color adjustment including white balance to digital pictures.
Anything photography for example it has all the tools you would find in a photo lab ex: the dodge tool Anything that has to do with printing since it looks after kerning etc, used in old antic printers, it uses indefinate layers and blends to do montage . Supplied Filters alone have more than 1000000 combinations of changing, distorting enhencing such as sepia tone again from old photography techincs.
Photoshop has automation such as actions so it can be easily programmed to batch repetitive work, it can output picture pakage just like the schools have.
Photoshop can use and create actions, filters, custom shapes, custom brushes, plug inn, color management policies, and it can all be shared between users from all over the world.
For all those reasons and much more it is ultimately the best software in the world. The new versions also does 3 d stuff!!
As for the braces simply open up your photo and a photo containing a person with the braces on , then use the clone stamp tool. Use the photo with the braces as the source, and then stamp the output on top your teeth . if the two pictures are the same size it’s that easy. if they are not you may need to read up on layers, copy and paste, opacity, free transform etc to get perfect results
