I have one of those little 1/8 hp air compressors with the moisture trap and pressure gauge connected to it then i have my air hose connected to the pressure gauge for my airbrush.
When I turn the air compressor on, I turn the air pressure adjustment knob to the correct pressure for the paint I'm using; but no matter what pressure I adjust it to, when I push the button on the airbrush to paint, the pressure always drops to 20psi. Is this supposed to happen? how do i keep the pressure constant?
Such is life...

This sometimes happens when I weld. I think it is normal.
