Depend jay. Both are hard but if you are willing to learn Jay then nothing is hard is it?

Honestly, I like Illustrator better. BUT they both have different functions. Photoshop has more options for photo editing – effect wise. Illustrator is more of a program to use for drawing by hand. (vector images) At least that is what I use it for. They both have a similiar layout as far as the tools. If you are very familiar with Photoshop, Illustrator will come easy to you. Just takes some time, studying, playing around, and patience.
