This is an original oil painting I have by the artist E. Heaton. The title is "A Kentish Lane" which shows a man leading a mule drawn cart down a country road. He could possibly be Scottish and worked around 1880 to 1910. I've found other paintings by him, but have no info on this artist. Is this painter well known? I also believe he could have used the name 'Earls Heaton'.

To be honest, I've never heard of him. I tried looking for info of him online but couldn't find anything. You could try going to a library and see if he's mentioned in any art books.
Sorry for my lack of info of him, but good luck finding his information! |

I don\t think he is well known - this is certainly the first I've heard of him/her, but I'm impressed. I'm sorry I can't help more, but I recommend you take it to an auction house or valuer to find out more. They should be able to point you in the right direction. Good luck.
