Well Bob – since you asked…
You were a remarkable artist and your running commentary with such descriptions as “happy little forest” in your landscapes were very annoying. I knew a lot of people in the 70’s who loved doing psychedelics and watching your show : ) and those “happy little accidents”, well they really were mistakes. Wet-on-wet oil painting is a difficult task to manage and you handled it bravely and of course, very fast!
You’ve probably returned to sue your corporation for creating a Nintendo game after your show, The Joy of Painting, although after a year of development it never materialized anyway.
You were an avid vegetarian in a time when non-meat eaters were freaks and I congratulate you for that!
I love you too.
We loved you too, Bob. When I was in art school, we’d gather in front of a rabbit-eared TV every Saturday afternoon and get high before watching your show.
(I thought it was just our school, but after seeing the first answer, it was either a nationwide phenomenon, or slave2art was one of my housemates.)

This would’ve been funnier if you used a Bob Ross avatar and changed your screen name to “Bob Ross”.

Bob Ross was a gifted toll painter. His work would have been charming on the back of a rocking chair.

we liked your paintings and painting techniques, but it dawned on me you got your lymphoma for your paint thinner.

Hi Bob,
Welcolme back! By the way, I’d kind of like that 200 bucks back that I loaned to you.

you are a woolly-headed freakosaurus. I hate your abstract paintings and neo-conservative ethics.
