Hello. We are starting a new art club at my high school this year and we need ART CLUB ACTIVITIES that will want people to join and the students who are already a part of it enjoy every meeting!! Any suggestions?? Thanks a lot!!

Draw caricatures of all the different teachers. Maybe they can even donate dollars for a fund to go on a field trip to a museum, or gallery, or drawing expedition.
Paint local store windows for holidays. charge them a fair price. split the profit between the artists and the club. Paint some large panels into characters and cut out holes for live peoples faces and photograph them and sell them to them. |

haven't tried them out, but things I can think of, though I guess it's more from art classes
- organize trip to a local art museum with guided tour - organize an art exhibition just for art club members - drawing class for members, you can take turns being the model or coming up with objects to draw - art critiques. Meet at some times and everybody brings some art and you talk about its good and bad points. - organize visit to the studio of a local artist or invite a local artist to talk to you or do a critique of your works with you, or have them talk how it is to be a professional artist - if there are gallery walks (one night when a lot of galleries have opening like "first fridays" or something like that) go all together - one person has to do a presentation about their favorite artist, take turns. - look if you can get some space for designing and painting a mural, either at school or in your town. |

Well one thing that you want to include is some type of free stuff or food because that would help. Then do something where you all come up with a cartoon or something. Probably even a comic book. You should also let them watch cartoons, probably anime, since it's so popular. Maybe you all could even hold contests, and even build your own website so that you can post your art on !
