Goa asked this question on the artcone forums: Which version of 3D max or Maya or etc. do you think I can run on Pentium IV, 1.6 GHZ, 256 MB RAM, G Force 4 64 MB?? And how it is combined with Photoshop?
Yeah it’s amzeing what can you do out of a cube hehehe i’d love to do in 3D but it takes toooooooooo much time which i dons have ou well i’m still young hehe
same here i use to do some modeling but takes to long. I perfer Lightwave or MODO. I have a buddy thats a 3d god. he works for the govt. designing wepons an neat stuff

Probably both latest versions, but with limited complexity of the scenes of course.
Both can render to transparency-aware file formats so integration is very seamless.
